BTW, It was always frustrating to me too as a contributor….get it in on time —-and there was certainly enough emphasis put on that — often I’d even be early, and then..pfft..posted whenever….can’t the same standards apply to both sides?.

I don’t understand why this has to be so complicated. To me, it’s simple: One “policy” – same coverage for everyone from the homeless guy to the Microsoft exec – sliding scale for how much you pay – just like subsidized housing. Let Big Pharma pay the subsidies. Doesn’t matter if you are working or not…..If you make nothing, you pay nothing (but you better have a good reason for not working – laid off, disabled, etc) If you are on a fixed income (retired, disabled, whatever) you pay a flat, reduced fee. As far as what the policy would cover – we want what our lawmakers get in their healthcare coverage. See? Simple!! lol

So if I go kill somebody do you think the “I had to kill him to make my fibromyalgia symptoms stop.” defense would hold up in court? And could you itemize your attorney’s fees on your tax return as health care expenses? Now I’m just being silly
